Arlene Mcloughlin has been painting unique wall murals on Long Island for over twenty years. Arlene painted her first mural while attending grade school at St. Boniface School in Elmont. She graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

With many years of training as a Fine Artist, Arlene gets her inspiration from years of working in NYC, a strong background in Art History and her passion to travel. While Arlene enjoyed the excitement of working in NYC as a Fashion Illustrator, she longed for the creative freedom that comes with running her own painting studio.

 

Arlene started the mural studio in 1997, painting commissioned work. She has studied with some of the finest decorative artists in the country.

 

The Studio Artisans are certified Lime Plasterers as well as SKIM STONE certified applicators. Arlene and her staff of professionally trained artisans exude enthusiasm and creativity, some of their areas of expertise include Custom Murals, Fine Italian Plasters, Furniture Decoration,and Skim Stone Decorative Concrete.

 

The company is fully insured. We service commercial and residential work in the Long Island, Manhattan, and the 5 Boroughs. For canvas mural work we will be happy to ship anywhere in the United States.

 

Arlene is a member of the The Decorative Artisans League, The Society of Decorative Painters, The Suburban Art League, the Amityville Artist Circle .Arlene teaches a variety of classes including mural and trompe l'oeil as well as plasters and decorative painting.
